The government of the Republic of Indonesia will hold the 16th National Merchandise and Commodity Show, "RESOURCE INDONESIA 2001 " that will be staged from 24 to 28 October 2001 at the Jakarta Fairgrounds, Kemayoran, Jakarta.

Recource Indonesia is an annual trade fair of international standing, where a large variety of Indonesian export product are exhibited. It is specially orgaized to facilitate personbal contact and business deals between overseas buyers and Indonesian manufacturers and exporters. Organized by National Agency for Export and Development (NAFED) since 1986, RESOURCE INDONESIA has grown become the most prestigious trade fair in South East Asia.

The 15th RESOURCE INDONESIA 2000 which was organized together with the 4th APEC International Trade Fair 2000, was participated by over 1.000 Indonesian manufacturers and Exporters, represenbting almost every Indonesian economic sector. It was visited by over 5.000 overseas buyers from 93 countries with on site transaction during the course of the fair amounted to US $ 103 millions.
